Nnewi South Mayor Inspects Ongoing Ukpor Modern Market, Park Projects

The Mayor of Nnewi South Local Government Area, Hon. Van George Ezeogidi, popularly known as Ijele Utuh, has inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the Ukpor Modern Market and Modern Park.

The inspection was aimed at assessing the progress and quality of work on the projects being executed by the Nnewi South Local Government Area.

During the inspection, the Mayor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering quality infrastructure that meets the needs and expectations of the people.

He stressed that the projects were being closely monitored to ensure timely completion and adherence to the required standards.

Hon. Ezeogidi described the modern market and park as strategic projects inspired by the infrastructure driven vision of Governor Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo.

According to him, upon completion, the projects will boost commercial activities, improve transportation and provide a more conducive environment for traders, commuters and residents.

He added that the projects would also contribute significantly to the socio economic development of Ukpor and the entire Nnewi South Local Government Area.
