Group Urges Anambra Police to Investigate Alleged Cultists Seen With Firearm

A group identified as Naija Confra has called on the Anambra State Police Command to investigate a video allegedly showing suspected members of the Vikings, also known as DNKI cult group, in possession of a firearm.

The group alleged that the individuals seen in the video may be linked to criminal activities in Onitsha and other parts of Anambra State, including alleged armed robbery and cult related attacks.

Naija Confra further alleged that some of the suspects have been associated with incidents in Okpoko and Oba areas of the state, urging the police to establish the identities of those seen in the video and investigate the allegations.

The group identified one of the persons wearing a red shirt as Marvelous and alleged that he had been linked to kidnapping activities.

Naija Confra said the information was being brought to the attention of the authorities to enable security agencies take appropriate action and protect residents.

The group urged the Anambra State Police Command to thoroughly investigate the video and determine whether the individuals are connected to any criminal activities.

It also renewed its call on youths to reject cultism and urged residents to support security agencies with credible information capable of preventing crime.

The allegations contained in the claims have not been independently verified, and the identities and alleged criminal activities of the persons seen in the video remain subject to police investigation.
