“Is Nigeria Working? NO!” – Drama As Crowd At City Boy Movement Town Hall Meeting Disagrees With Director General Over Tinubu’s Achievements

There was mild drama today at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka, Anambra State, venue of City Boy Movement Anambra State town hall meeting and membership drive when the Director General, Hon Francis Shoga asked the mamonth crowd if they believed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made great achievements since the inception of administration.

To his shock, the crowd who were expected to have answered in the affirmative, kept mute and when he persisted, they responded with a blatant “No”.

He had began by calling on the youths to recognise that they are first Nigerians and should not be left out of Tinubu’s moving train, before further arguing that Nigeria’s political, economic and security challenges didn’t start with President Tinubu’s administration.

This was followed by a wide support and agreement from the crowd.

However, things changed when Hon. Shoga took it further and asked the crowd to shout “Tinubu” if they believed President Tinubu was working.

His question was met with total silence.

Hon. Shuga asked again but this time was met with a resounding rebuff, “No”.

“I said what? You must be involved! So if you believe in the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu—President Tinubu did not start this problem, let us all remember. Are you getting me? The problem has been there before President Tinubu came to power. But now, if Tinubu is working, say Nigeria!”

” Silence”

“​Is Nigeria working?”

​Crowd:”No!”

​Francis Shoga:
“Is it working?”

​Crowd:
No!

​Francis Shoga:
“Are we going to get there?”

​Crowd:
Yes!

The drama didn’t end there.

It continued towards the end of his speech, when he asked the crowd if any of them had benefited from the Federal Government’s programme, “NELFUND”

And, once again, it was met with a resounding “No”.

Hon Shuga ended his speech by asking them to join City Boy Movement so they can be on the table and benefit from the programme.
