Bayelsa Man Reunites With Biological Father 35 Years After Separation

A Bayelsa family has celebrated an emotional reunion after a man was reunited with his biological father 35 years after he was reportedly given to another man.

A family member, Ibuomozi Bigi, shared the story in a Facebook post on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

According to Bigi, the man was brought back to the Bigi family on Saturday, September 19, before being formally presented to the Mozi Dynasty in Olobiri Community the following day.

He described the reunion as a joyful moment for the family, noting that the young man bears a striking resemblance to his biological father.

Bigi expressed gratitude over what he described as the return of a lost son, saying the family was overwhelmed with joy after the 35 year separation.
