Anambra Entrepreneurs Urged to Turn Social Media Into Business Growth Tool
By Queen Anigbogu
The business community and residents of Anambra State have been urged to leverage social media platforms to increase business visibility, reach wider markets and improve productivity.
The call was made at the Business, Balance and Beyond (B³) Summit, held in Awka and convened by Dr. Ella Ezeadilieje, popularly known as Veronica’s Daughter on social media.
The free empowerment programme brought together entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals to discuss wealth creation, financial management, health and sustainable business growth.
Speaking at the summit, Dr. Ezeadilieje observed that many Anambra residents consume social media content but fail to maximise the platforms as tools for promoting their businesses.
She urged entrepreneurs to move beyond being content consumers and actively showcase their products and services online to attract customers and expand their markets.
Also speaking, Dr. Kelechi Okoro stressed the need for entrepreneurs to prioritise their health while pursuing financial success. She encouraged participants to eat healthy meals, exercise regularly and undergo routine medical checks.
A panel session featuring Chief Joseph Ezeadilieje, Professor Olusegun Sogbesan of Onitsha Business School and Mr. Kelvin Onovo of the Finished Men Association examined the importance of strong relationships in building sustainable businesses and achieving personal success.
The summit also featured health talks and free medical services, including eye examinations, HIV screening and breast cancer screening.
Among the dignitaries present were the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr. Chris Molokwu, Ms. Nkiruka Okonkwo of Union Bank, Engineer Ndubisi Chidomere of PAMTECH Group and actress Racheal Okonkwo, popularly known as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka.
