Jemima Osunde Blocks Alleged One Way Driver in Lagos, Waits for LASTMA
Nollywood actress Jemima Osunde has confronted a motorist she accused of driving against traffic in Lagos, insisting that traffic congestion is not an excuse to break the law.
In a video shared online, the actress alleged that the driver abandoned his lane to avoid traffic and entered the lane designated for motorists heading towards Lekki.
Rather than give way, Osunde said she deliberately blocked the vehicle and remained in her lane until officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, arrived.
“I will not leave my lane for you when you are passing one way. I won’t do it,” she said, adding that she would not be intimidated even if the vehicle had police officers inside.
The actress questioned the growing habit of motorists driving against traffic to beat congestion, arguing that such actions only worsen traffic problems and put other road users at risk.
She maintained that she would rather remain in traffic and arrive late at her destination than encourage a motorist allegedly violating traffic regulations.
Her confrontation has sparked conversations online about road discipline, traffic enforcement and the growing challenge of motorists driving against traffic in Lagos.
