Manchester United Crowned Back to Back Snapdragon Cup Champions

Manchester United have successfully defended the Snapdragon Cup title after coming from behind to defeat Atletico Madrid 2-1 in Stockholm, Sweden, securing the pre season trophy for the second consecutive year.

The Spanish side took an early lead through Arnau Ortiz in the fifth minute, but United responded strongly in the second half.

New signing Bryan Mbeumo inspired the comeback, scoring twice to hand the Red Devils victory. He first converted a penalty after Shea Lacey was fouled inside the box before netting the winning goal in the 74th minute following a fine assist from Jack Fletcher.

Atletico Madrid pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages and struck the woodwork, but Manchester United held on to lift the Snapdragon Cup for the second year running.
