The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for the Dunukofia, Njikoka and Anaocha (DNA) Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, Prince Chukwudi Oli, popularly known as Obaezeafia, has marked his 45th birthday with a renewed commitment to philanthropy, community development and public service.
The celebration, held on July 27, 2026, at his compound in Agu Ukwu Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, attracted family members, friends, political associates, traditional rulers, party faithful and other dignitaries from within and outside the constituency.
Speaking during the ceremony, Prince Oli described the occasion as an emotional moment, saying he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from his family, staff, friends and well wishers.
He said the surprise reception organised by members of his household reminded him that genuine love and meaningful human relationships are more valuable than material wealth.
Prince Oli, who is known for supporting widows, vulnerable children and other less privileged members of society, said his philanthropic activities did not begin because of politics but had been part of his life from an early age.
He recalled that even before joining active politics, he had embarked on various community development initiatives, including road construction and housing support for residents.
According to him, his desire to assist others is driven by compassion and a personal conviction to make a positive difference in society.
The legal practitioner also explained that his decision to participate actively in politics was motivated by the need for knowledgeable and responsible citizens to contribute to governance and the development of society.
Prince Oli expressed support for the developmental initiatives of the Anambra State Government under Governor Chukwuma Soludo, saying he decided to identify with the administration after personally verifying some of its projects.
The APGA candidate, who recently emerged as the party’s candidate for the DNA Federal Constituency seat, described his primary election victory as a call to greater service and responsibility.
He pledged that if elected in the 2027 general election, he would provide quality representation and work toward improving the welfare and development of the people of Dunukofia, Njikoka and Anaocha.
Also speaking at the event, Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi (Rtd.) commended Prince Oli for his humanitarian activities and contributions to community development.
Chiobi described him as a man who has consistently demonstrated concern for the welfare of others and urged him to sustain his philanthropic efforts.
He encouraged the celebrant to continue using his influence to uplift vulnerable people, promote peace and contribute to the development of society.
The celebration featured prayers, goodwill messages, cultural displays and tributes from guests, who wished Prince Oli long life, good health and greater success in his future endeavours.
