Klopp Appointed Germany Head Coach

Former Liverpool manager, Jürgen Klopp, has been appointed as the new head coach of the German national football team.

The 59 year old has signed a four year contract with the German Football Association and will officially assume office on August 15, succeeding Julian Nagelsmann, who stepped down following Germany’s early exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Klopp is expected to lead Germany through the 2028 UEFA European Championship and the 2030 FIFA World Cup, bringing his wealth of experience and proven record at the highest level of football to the national team.

His appointment marks a new chapter for the German side as the football powerhouse looks to rebuild and return to the top of international football under one of Europe’s most celebrated managers.
