Bishop Nwokolo Applauds Gozie Anyachebelu Polytechnic’s Growth, Pledges Continued Support

The Bishop of the Diocese on the Niger, Rt. Rev. Dr. Owen Chiedozie Nwokolo, has applauded the remarkable progress recorded by Gozie Anyachebelu Polytechnic, Onitsha, commending its management for driving academic excellence, innovation and institutional development.
Bishop Nwokolo gave the commendation on July 8 when the institution’s management team, led by the Rector, Engr. (Mrs.) Chioma Helen Osuigwe Abone (JP), paid him a courtesy visit.
The rector used the opportunity to brief the bishop on recent milestones achieved by the Polytechnic, highlighting the successful hosting of its Exhibition and Hybrid Virtual Conference, which she said has enhanced research, innovation, academic excellence and the institution’s visibility within and beyond Anambra State.
Responding, Bishop Nwokolo praised the management and staff for their commitment to building a reputable institution through quality education and impactful academic programmes.
He urged the Polytechnic to sustain the momentum by remaining committed to excellence, innovation and the training of graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to national development.
The delegation also expressed appreciation to the bishop for his unwavering support, visionary leadership and longstanding commitment to the growth and development of Gozie Anyachebelu Polytechnic.
Members of the team further conveyed their belated birthday wishes, praying for God’s continued blessings, sound health, wisdom and strength as he continues his service to the Church and society.
In his closing remarks, Bishop Nwokolo offered prayers for greater success, divine guidance and continued progress for the institution, while reaffirming his support for its mission of providing quality technical and vocational education.
The visit underscored the growing partnership between the Church and educational institutions in promoting academic excellence and human capital development in Anambra State.
