Deputy Mayor, Paul Ifeme Receives Artisans Development Support Awar

The Deputy Mayor of Awka South Local Government Area, Hon. Sir Paul Ifeme, has received the Artisans Development Support Award from Cuizia Industries Nigeria Limited in recognition of his support for the development of local artisans and small businesses.

The award was presented to Hon. Ifeme following his attendance and support at a One Day Sensitisation and Development Summit for Ndi Oruaka, organised under the theme, Safe Work, Better Business Initiative and Sensitisation.

The summit focused on equipping artisans with knowledge on workplace safety, business development and sustainable practices capable of helping them improve their businesses and livelihoods.

Receiving the award, Hon. Ifeme expressed appreciation to Cuizia Industries Nigeria Limited for the recognition and commended the company for championing initiatives aimed at empowering artisans and promoting the growth of local businesses.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting programmes that uplift artisans, strengthen small businesses and promote safe and sustainable work practices across communities.

Hon. Ifeme also described the summit as a timely initiative, noting that continuous education, safety awareness and access to business development knowledge remain important to the growth and success of Ndi Oruaka.

He thanked Cuizia Industries Nigeria Limited for recognising his support and for its commitment to the development of artisans in the community.
