Anambra Deputy Governor, Ibezim Seeks Stronger Partnerships for Educational Excellence, Institutional Development

The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Soludo administration to fostering partnerships that promote educational excellence and institutional development.

Dr. Ibezim gave the assurance when he received the National Executive Committee of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Alumni Association, led by its Global President, Professor Iyke Umeh, at the Light House, Awka, on behalf of the Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.

Speaking during the visit, Professor Umeh commended Governor Soludo and his Deputy for providing purposeful leadership, noting that the transformation being witnessed across Anambra State was a product of visionary governance and teamwork.

He disclosed that the Second Zikites Converge would honour distinguished alumni in recognition of their contributions to public service, academia, business and other fields. He added that Dr. Ibezim was among the eminent personalities selected for the award.

Responding, Deputy Governor Ibezim congratulated Professor Umeh on his emergence as the Global President of the association and expressed confidence that the alumni body would attain greater heights under his leadership.

The Deputy Governor reiterated that the Soludo administration remains committed to building a livable, secure and prosperous homeland through quality education and strong institutions. He also expressed appreciation to the association for considering him worthy of recognition by his alma mater.
