The Aguata Local Government Area leadership has announced major education infrastructure projects aimed at improving learning conditions and outcomes in schools across the area.

The projects were unveiled during an inspection visit to Central School, Isuofia, and Girls High School, Uga, on August 18, led by the Aguata LGA Chairman and development team under Dr Chibueze Ofobuike.

At Central School, Isuofia, the administration plans to rebuild the existing classroom block, providing pupils with a safer and more conducive environment for learning.

At Girls High School, Uga, the intervention will include the construction of a new examination hall, as well as the construction and full equipping of science laboratories to strengthen practical learning and science education.

The Aguata LGA leadership said the projects reflect its commitment to making education a priority and providing young people with the facilities and opportunities needed to develop their potential.

The team stressed that functional infrastructure remains critical to creating an effective learning environment and building a stronger educational foundation for the next generation.

The interventions in Isuofia and Uga are expected to contribute significantly to improving the quality of education and learning experience for pupils and students in the communities.
