Abia Police Arrest Barber in Umuahia Over Alleged Suspicious Activities

The Abia State Police Command has arrested a barber in Umuahia following a report alleging suspicious activities at his residence.

The arrest reportedly followed a complaint by one of the barber’s neighbours, who allegedly accused him of engaging a soldier to kill him.

Police operatives subsequently visited the suspect’s residence to investigate the allegation and reportedly discovered what was described as a shrine in one of the rooms.

The officers also allegedly recovered a quantity of human hair believed to have been collected from customers, alongside other items found within the premises.

However, the police have not publicly established the purpose of the items recovered or confirmed the allegations against the suspect.

The barber remains in police custody as investigations continue to determine the circumstances surrounding the reported complaint and the items allegedly recovered from his residence.

The Police Command is expected to provide further information as the investigation progresses.
