Teenager Murdered Over False £100,000 Human Testicles Claim, Indian Police Say

Bhopal, India: Police in India have arrested a 20 year old business student and an alleged accomplice following the gruesome murder of a 17 year old street vendor, identified as Rehan, in a bizarre scheme reportedly driven by a false social media claim about the value of human testicles.

According to investigators, Rehan was allegedly lured to a secluded location on August 6 by two youths who offered him 100 Indian rupees to assist with a supposed fight.

Police said he was subsequently stabbed to death, after which his testicles were allegedly removed in an attempt to sell them on the black market.

Investigators allege that prime suspect Zoheb Khan, 20, convinced members of the group that the organs could fetch about 12 million Indian rupees, approximately £92,000, in the Gulf.

Police further alleged that Khan posed as a doctor and bought a white apron, stethoscope and thermometer online while training the group to remove the organs.

Four suspects allegedly participated directly in the killing, while Khan reportedly guided them through a video call.

After the group failed to find a buyer, police allege that Khan instructed them to dispose of the organs in separate lakes.

Rehan’s body was recovered from Lower Lake near Dhobi Ghat on August 10, five days after his mother reported him missing. He was identified through a tattoo.

Police have arrested Khan and 18 year old Aamir Qureshi, while three minors have also been detained as investigations continue.
