Anambra Lands Commissioner Urges Surveyors to Uphold Professional Standards
The Anambra State Commissioner for Lands, Prof. Offornze Dike Amucheazi (SAN), has called on members of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS), Anambra State Branch, to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in the discharge of their duties.
Prof. Amucheazi made the call while receiving a delegation of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors on a courtesy visit to his office.

The commissioner commended the institution for maintaining high professional standards over the years and urged its leadership to strengthen disciplinary measures against members whose conduct falls below acceptable professional ethics in order to preserve the integrity and reputation of the profession.
He also emphasised the need for sustained collaboration between the Ministry of Lands and the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors to support Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision of an efficient, transparent and effective land administration system in Anambra State.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors, Anambra State Branch, Surveyor Gabriel Okeke, congratulated Prof. Amucheazi on his reappointment as Commissioner for Lands and commended his leadership and commitment to reforms in the land administration sector.
He reaffirmed the institution’s readiness to work closely with the Ministry of Lands to promote professionalism and contribute to the achievement of the state’s development objectives.
The visit featured the presentation of a congratulatory plaque to Prof. Amucheazi by the leadership of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors in recognition of his reappointment as Commissioner for Lands in Anambra State.
