Woman Allegedly Confesses to Maid’s Death, Investigation Ongoing

A video currently circulating on social media allegedly shows a woman confessing to the death of her maid after an incident involving physical assault.

According to the alleged confession, the woman claimed the child began convulsing while she was beating her. She said the child was rushed to Kings Hospital, where she was later confirmed dead.

The woman further alleged that she took the child’s body to a nearby bush and abandoned it. According to reports, some residents reportedly saw her carrying the body and confronted her, after which she led them to the location where the body had been left.

The exact community where the incident reportedly occurred in Anambra State has not been officially confirmed, and the circumstances surrounding the case remain under investigation.
