Soludo Presents Certificates To New Traditional Rulers Of Nsugbe, Adazi Nnukwu

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has presented certificates of recognition to the newly elected traditional rulers of Nsugbe and Adazi Nnukwu communities — Chief John Nzekwesili Nweke and Chief Aethelbirth Muoka respectively.

This marks the first set of traditional ruler recognitions by the Governor in his second tenure, following due process from the community level through the local government to the state.

Soludo charged the new monarchs to be fathers to all, regardless of political or personal differences, stressing that peace remains the foundation for grassroots development.

He also disclosed plans for a new Community Administration Law to tackle recurring leadership disputes and factionalism, which he said have fueled prolonged court cases and stalled development in many communities.

The Governor urged traditional rulers to work together in unity, expressing confidence that stronger grassroots administration would position Anambra communities for greater development and global recognition.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Barr. Ifeanyi Ezeaka, said both monarchs emerged through a rigorous selection process. The new traditional rulers pledged to unite their people and promote peace and development in their domains.
