Orishel Group, through its Orishel Community Development Initiatives, has unveiled the Project 3F Skill Development Innovation Centre, a facility designed to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, vocational skills and economic empowerment as part of its broader wealth creation vision.

The launch also provided an opportunity for the group to showcase its integrated development agenda and strategies for building a sustainable and prosperous homeland through its various initiatives, including Orishel Green City, Orishel Leadership Development, Orishel Skill Acquisition Hub and Vocational Academy, as well as the Orishel Thrift Scheme.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Orishel Group, Odogwu Mark Odogwu, said the organisation’s name, “Orish-El”, a Hebrew expression meaning “Light of God”, reflects its commitment to building a business model anchored on godly principles and Igbo cultural values.

Mr Odogwu explained that the group considers ethical reorientation and value-based business practices essential to its operations, noting that the approach provides a foundation for building trust among members and investors while promoting sustainable wealth creation.

He identified strong similarities between the group’s development philosophy and the vision of the Soludo administration, particularly its emphasis on homeland development through strategic partnerships involving government, communities and individuals, alongside massive investment in human capital development.

Commending the initiative, the Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Mr Patrick Agha Mba, represented by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Dr Ifeatu Emordi, said the Anambra State Government welcomes strategic partnerships capable of driving development and creating opportunities for citizens.

Dr Emordi assured the group of the government’s readiness to collaborate with it in achieving greater development outcomes and expanding opportunities for skills acquisition and economic empowerment.

Highlights of the event included exhibitions of products, fashion displays by students of Orishel Fashion Hub and presentations of agricultural produce from the Orishel AgroFarm Projects.

The occasion also featured the presentation of land documents to clients of Orishel Green City Phase One, located at Urum in Awka North Local Government Area, as well as testimonials from clients, partners and graduates of the group’s various skills acquisition programmes.

Other activities and side attractions added colour to the launch, which underscored the group’s commitment to entrepreneurship, human capital development and sustainable community growth.
