Actress Uche Ogbodo Announces Separation From Husband
Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has announced her separation from her husband, Bobby Maris.
The actress made the disclosure in a series of posts shared on her Instagram Story, where she suggested she had grown tired of the marriage.
Ogbodo questioned why society often expects only men to express dissatisfaction in marriage, insisting that women also have the right to walk away from unhappy unions.
She revealed that she had reached her breaking point after eight years and described Bobby Maris as the “princess that married me.”
The actress also said she was no longer willing to continue in a marriage that no longer made her happy.
In a separate post, Bobby Maris appeared to react to the development with a brief message on his Instagram Story, writing, “Delivered.”
Uche Ogbodo and Bobby Maris got married on January 6, 2023.
The couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in 2021, and their second child, a son, in 2023.
