COOU Releases Updated List of 1,249 Candidates Yet to Accept 2026/2027 Admission

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra State, has released an updated list of candidates who are yet to accept their admission offers for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university, in a statement issued on Thursday, September 17, 2026, urged the affected candidates to urgently visit the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s Central Admissions Processing System (JAMB CAPS) to accept their admission offers.

According to the statement, the development followed the commencement of the 2026/2027 admission process at the university, with a total of 1,249 candidates identified as having yet to accept their offers as of September 17.

The institution said the publication of the names was intended to draw the attention of the affected candidates to the need to complete the admission acceptance process within the stipulated period.

The university’s Public Relations Officer, Dr Harrison Madubueze, mnipr, said the list would continue to be updated as more candidates accept their admission offers.

Madubueze explained that the continuous updating of the list was to ensure that all candidates were carried along throughout the admission process.

He therefore called on the affected candidates to check the updated list and take the necessary steps on JAMB CAPS to formally accept their admission offers.
The university also appealed to members of the public to share the information with relatives and other prospective students who may be affected, to enable them complete the admission process on time.
