15 Years of Priesthood: Fr. Ebube Muonso Celebrates Milestone, Honours Archbishop Okeke

Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, popularly known as Fr. Ebube Muonso, has celebrated his 15th Priestly Anniversary at the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, expressing gratitude to God for sustaining him through what he described as a journey filled with challenges and divine guidance.

Fr. Ebube Muonso also used the occasion to appreciate the Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke, whom he described as a father and shepherd who has continued to guide and correct him whenever necessary. He prayed for God’s continued strength and wisdom for the Archbishop.

Reflecting on his humanitarian work, the priest disclosed that thousands of people are benefiting from his scholarship scheme, stressing his belief that education remains a powerful tool for transforming lives.

He also announced plans to commit ₦100 million to medical outreach, while revealing that he is currently sponsoring the treatment of two patients in India. He added that he provides monthly financial assistance to elderly people in Nkwelle Ezunaka.

Fr. Ebube Muonso said he initially did not plan a major celebration of the anniversary, but the numerous messages, surprises and gestures from supporters eventually made the milestone impossible to ignore.

Also speaking, Fr. Jeremiah Ikezue described Fr. Ebube Muonso as a mentor and prayed for God’s continued grace, strength and protection upon him.

The anniversary provided an opportunity for Fr. Ebube Muonso to reflect on 15 years of priesthood and reaffirm his commitment to faith, service and humanitarian work, with a pledge to continue touching lives beyond the altar.
