Federal, Anambra State Governments To Host Mega Made-In-Nigeria Trade Fair In December

The Federal and Anambra State Governments will host the first-ever Made-in-Nigeria trade fair in Awka, tagged ‘Christmas Market’ from December 2nd – 5th, 2026.
The Secretary, Anambra State Government, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, announced the trade fair when she received the Team from Made-in-Nigeria Project Office, Office of the Secretary to Government of the Federation in her office at the Light House, Awka.

Mrs Nnake said the project which is expected to be hosted at Solution Fun City, Awka keys into the vision of Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the state as he has been a staunch promoter of Made-in-Nigeria products and has remained the number one face of Akwette since he came to office.
She further explained that the fair will help showcase Made-in-Anambra to the world and that the December date was chosen to align with other Christmas festivities as a way to sustain the energy through the yuletide.

The National Coordinator and Executive Director, Made-in-Nigeria Project Office, Mr George Nwabueze announced that Governor Soludo will be formally appointed Nigeria’s Made-in-Nigeria Brand Ambassador by the Federal Government during the trade fair as he has shown personal commitment to the project.
He said the trade fair which will happen across the Federation leading with Abia State in September and Anambra later in December will have zero imported products as is part of Federal Government’s programme to promote and market Nigeria to the world.
Commissioner for Commerce, Mr Nonso Ebonwu called on manufacturers, small and medium scale enterprises in the state to maximize the opportunity of the trade fair to showcase their products to the world.
The visit was followed by the facility tour of the venue of the trade fair, Solution Fun City.
