Anambra Polytechnic Begins Construction of TETFund Sponsored Modern Auditorium

Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu, has taken another major step in its infrastructure development with the official foundation laying ceremony for a modern auditorium to be constructed under the 2026 Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund, Annual Intervention.

The ceremony was led by the Acting Rector, Dr. Njideka Rita Chiekezie, alongside members of the institution’s management, principal officers, staff, contractors, and other stakeholders, marking the commencement of one of the Polytechnic’s key capital projects for the year.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Chiekezie described the project as a significant milestone in the institution’s ongoing efforts to provide a more conducive environment for teaching, learning, research, and other academic activities. She said the proposed auditorium would serve as a modern facility for lectures, conferences, seminars, administrative functions, and other institutional programmes.

The Acting Rector expressed appreciation to the Tertiary Education Trust Fund for its continued investment in tertiary education across the country. She noted that the intervention has continued to strengthen infrastructure in higher institutions and reaffirmed the Polytechnic’s commitment to ensuring that the project is completed on schedule and in line with approved specifications.

The auditorium is among the projects approved for Anambra State Polytechnic under the 2026 TETFund Annual Intervention. Its construction is expected to further enhance the institution’s physical infrastructure, improve the learning experience for students, and support its vision of delivering quality technical and vocational education.
