Former President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Emeka Rollas, has publicly apologised to actress Regina Daniels, her mother, Rita Daniels, and Senator Ned Nwoko over comments he made during the publicised marital crisis between Regina and Nwoko in 2025.

Rollas, in a public apology, said he had reflected on his position at the time and came to the conclusion that he was wrong in the manner he addressed the matter.

The former AGN president had in November 2025 publicly weighed in after reports of tension between Regina Daniels and Nwoko surfaced online.

In his statement at the time, Rollas said Regina needed help and criticised some industry figures for remaining silent despite what he described as their knowledge of the situation.

He also questioned Rita Daniels’ involvement in the AGN presidential race, arguing that attention should instead be focused on her daughter’s situation.

However, in his latest statement, Rollas said he had reconsidered his position and acknowledged that his intervention had been wrong.

According to him, some individuals had previously attempted to mediate between him and Rita Daniels, but he decided to personally address the matter by publicly tendering his apology.

Rollas said his apology was being offered regardless of whether Regina, Rita Daniels or Senator Nwoko chose to accept it.

He expressed regret over his comments and appealed for the matter to be put behind them.

The apology comes months after the dispute generated significant attention within the entertainment industry and across social media.
