INEC Begins Recruitment Of Adhoc Staff For 2027 General Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the activation of its online portal for the recruitment of ad hoc staff for the 2027 general election.

The commission disclosed this in a public notice posted on its X handle today, stating that the INECPRES portal for interested applicants was activated on Friday, September 18, 2026.

According to the notice, the application window will close on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at midnight.

INEC said, “The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will activate the INECPRES for interested Applicants who wish to serve as ad-hoc staff during the 2027 General Election as scheduled below.”

INEC said the online application would be available through its website for applicants using both the mobile application and web application.
