Convicted Sex Offender Jailed After Indecent Act on Manchester Bound Train

A convicted sex offender, Babatunde Odutola, has been sentenced to 44 weeks in prison after masturbating in front of a woman on a train travelling towards Manchester in the United Kingdom.

The incident occurred on September 11, 2026, as the train travelled through Cheshire towards Manchester Piccadilly.

According to reports, the woman was distressed by the incident and was assisted to safety by another passenger.

CCTV footage reportedly captured Odutola continuing the act despite other passengers being present in the carriage.

Police arrested him when the train arrived at Manchester Piccadilly.

Odutola appeared before Manchester Magistrates’ Court within 72 hours and pleaded guilty to outraging public decency and breaching a suspended sentence order.

The court subsequently sentenced him to 44 weeks in prison.
