Ebonyi Gradually Becoming One of Nigeria’s Safest States, Says Governor’s Aide
Ebonyi State is gradually emerging as one of the safest and most peaceful states in Nigeria, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on New Media, Leo Ekene Oketa, has said.
Oketa attributed the development to the Governor’s sustained commitment to strengthening security and protecting the lives and property of residents across the state.
He said Governor Nwifuru had continued to invest in the security architecture of Ebonyi State while maintaining strong collaboration with security agencies to effectively address security challenges.
According to him, the relative peace being experienced across the state is not accidental but the result of sustained government efforts, strategic security investments and effective cooperation between the government and security agencies.
Oketa said the peaceful environment was creating a more conducive atmosphere for residents, businesses and investors to thrive, adding that the state government would continue to prioritise security as a foundation for development.
