Anambra Deputy Speaker, Okoye Celebrates Oye @ 70

The Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and Member representing Awka South Two Constituency, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Pius Okoye, has joined the Immediate National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Sir Victor Oye, popularly known as Ozonkpu, at a Thanksgiving Mass held at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Amawbia, to celebrate his 70th birthday.

The thanksgiving service attracted political leaders, government officials, APGA stakeholders, traditional rulers, members of the clergy, family, friends, and well wishers who gathered to thank God for Chief Victor Oye’s life, achievements, and years of dedicated service to the party and the nation.

Speaking during the event, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Pius Okoye described Chief Victor Oye as a visionary leader whose commitment, courage, and steadfast dedication contributed immensely to strengthening APGA and promoting democratic values in Anambra State and across Nigeria. He noted that Ozonkpu’s exemplary leadership and wealth of experience remain a source of inspiration to emerging political leaders.

The Deputy Speaker prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, wisdom, and strength upon the celebrant, expressing confidence that Chief Victor Oye would continue to make meaningful contributions to the growth of APGA, the development of Anambra State, and the progress of Nigeria.

The Thanksgiving Mass was marked by prayers, thanksgiving, and goodwill messages, reflecting a life devoted to faith, selfless service, and impactful leadership as Chief Victor Oye celebrated the milestone of his 70th birthday.
