Deputy Governor Commends ARTMA Officers for Commitment to Road Safety

The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, on Friday visited officers of the Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency, ARTMA, during their traffic control operations, commending them for their dedication and service to the people of the state.

Dr. Ibezim praised the officers for their tireless efforts in maintaining order on major roads and ensuring the free flow of traffic, despite the challenges of working under harsh weather conditions and during peak traffic periods.

According to the Deputy Governor, “In the heat and chaos of rush hour, these men and women are working tirelessly to keep Anambra moving, directing traffic, saving commuters hours of delay and keeping our state alive with order. That is not just a job; it is a calling.”

He noted that the commitment of ARTMA personnel reflects the ongoing transformation taking place under the leadership of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, whose administration, he said, is steadily turning Anambra into a model of order, efficiency and responsible governance.

Dr. Ibezim encouraged the officers to remain steadfast in the discharge of their duties, assuring them that their sacrifices and contributions to public safety and effective traffic management are appreciated by the government and the people of Anambra State.
