FRSC Opens 2026 Recruitment Exercise, Applications Begin July 3
The Federal Road Safety Corps has announced that its 2026 recruitment exercise will begin on Friday, July 3, with qualified Nigerians invited to apply for vacancies in the officer, marshal inspectorate, and road marshal assistant cadres.
According to a recruitment notice signed by the Deputy Corps Marshal and Head of Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, on behalf of the Corps Marshal, applications will be submitted online through the FRSC recruitment portal and will remain open for four weeks. The corps emphasized that the recruitment process is completely free and warned applicants against paying money to anyone.
The recruitment covers several positions across different cadres. The Officer Cadre is open to medical doctors, pharmacists, nurses, medical laboratory scientists, lawyers, engineers, and graduates with BSc, BA, or HND qualifications. Applicants for these positions must generally be between 18 and 35 years of age. The Marshal Inspectorate Cadre is available for candidates with NCE, ND, OND, Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, and Community Health Extension Worker qualifications, while applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old.
The Road Marshal Assistant Cadre is open to candidates with at least three credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, including English Language and Mathematics. The corps is also recruiting artisans such as computer operators, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, tailors, motorcycle riders, and drivers with relevant trade qualifications and valid licences. Applicants for articulated and tow truck driver positions must be between 26 and 40 years old.
The FRSC stated that applicants must be Nigerians by birth, computer literate, medically fit, and single. Male applicants must be at least 1.65 metres tall, while female applicants must have a minimum height of 1.58 metres. Candidates must also be of good character, free from financial indebtedness, have no criminal record, and must not have tattoos on any part of their bodies. The corps advised pregnant women not to apply and reminded applicants to use their personal email addresses and phone numbers during registration.
The FRSC urged all interested applicants to submit their applications through its official recruitment portal from July 3 and cautioned members of the public to beware of fraudsters, reiterating that the recruitment exercise is free of charge. Applicants with enquiries were advised to contact the corps through its emergency line, 122.
